Card Authentication Key (Optional)

The PIV Card shall not permit exportation of the card authentication key. Private/secret key operations may be performed using this key without explicit user action (e.g., the PIN need not be supplied). The FIPS 201 standard does not specify key management protocols or infrastructure requirements.
