Physical Characteristics and Durability

There are seven requirements to be satisfied:

1. The PIV Card must be able to interface with contact and contactless readers (Requirement 30)
2. The PIV Card be made of material consistent with standards (Requirement 31)
3. PIV Card must be tested in sunlight conditions (Requirement 32A)
4. The PIV Card thickness must comply with standards (Requirement 32B)
5. The PIV Card cannot be embossed (Requirement 33)
6. The PIV Card cannot have any stick on decals (Requirement 34)
7. The PIV Card must comply with temperature standards (Requirement 35)
